On Wednesday, November 29, Ural State University of Economics  hosted the 2nd international scientific and practical conference "Ural – 21^st Century: Region of Innovative Development". Participants discussed the prospects of the region, management technologies in the era of global competition, and other topics.

A member of the Presidium of the United Russia Regional Political Council Alexei Korobeinikov took part in the section "Ural -21^st century: a space for economic and innovative development". He made a presentation "Improving the Energy Efficiency as a Factor of Innovation Development of the Region."
