In the Sverdlovsk region, the first step was taken to establish an infrastructure to increase the financial literacy of the inhabitants of the Middle Urals. A corresponding agreement was signed between the government of Sverdlovsk Oblast and Ural State University of Economics. Within the framework of the agreement, a regional center for financial literacy is being established.

May 23, the Department of Public Law jointly with the Department of Business Law held the 1st interuniversity Olympiad in Criminalistics "Trace" for students majoring in Jurisprudence. The participants were students of Yekaterinburg universities (USUE, USPU, RANEPA Ural Institute of Management, Ural Juridical Institute of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia,). Overall, five teams took part and they were mixed, which made it possible to rally the participants.

Today Ural State University of Economics hosted a meeting of the Public Council of the Ministry of Finance of Sverdlovsk Oblast "Is tax an income or a tool of management?" The meeting was attended by leading experts in the field of taxation and finance.
